The property:
The old family residence on the Gardini estate, has returned to its former splendour after a major restoration project; with a new extension and a swimming-pool in front of the old carriage road, the place now resembles a little hamlet nestling in the gently rolling hills.
The property has been divided into fifteen beautiful rooms, with a succession of corridors and open galleries as in bygone times. The terracotta floors and the elegant earth tones on the walls provide a backdrop for the fine antique furnishing. The refined lounge welcomes guests for breakfast, and is also a perfect place to converse or read in front of the fireplace. All in all, an ideal location for a holiday in Tuscany, amid beautiful countryside yet close to the sea.
The rooms:
The family's antique furniture creates an atmosphere soaked in the past, the four-poster beds from a convent and the crisp white sheets will envelop you in a gentle embrace. A book, a print, or a photo may make you feel as if you have already been here, and will hopefully inspire you to return.
Altogether there are three suites and twelve double rooms, each of them unique, charming, and comfortable..
The grounds:
Sant'Elena has been restored in full respect of all the original features, and the grounds, too, have been kept as they were, leaving the original lawn so as to allow unspoilt views of the estate from all points. Roses, rosemary, freshly planted lavender and the aromatic herb garden make the garden a constant, yet ever-changing delight. In the middle of this relaxing scenery, with a tower, a cypress grove and an ancient hamlet, is the swimming-pool, where guests can enjoy an aperitif or a glass of wine in a magical atmosphere as the sun goes down.

Nr.2 ELEGANT: bedroom of 20 sqm on the ground floor or on the 1st floor of the “Foresteria” with private outdoor space or balcony, with semi-canopy bed with French fabrics, sofa bed, bathroom with shower. Possibility of a 3rd or 4th bed.
